It has not disappointed I think it goes particularly well with my HD800s but most of all I am pleased with its fabulous performance as a DAC and preamp I had expected from the reviews that it would be very good but in fact the improvement is spectacular.
As a music source I use my Mac laptop with music stored on Apple Lossless.
