I’ve been a dedicated Burson fan for several years now, and during that time, I’ve had the chance to try some excellent gear—brands like Holo Audio, Hifiman Prelude, SPL, SMSL, and others. Yet, there’s always been something missing, that unique Burson sound that I’ve grown to love. I will say that both the Cyan 2 and the Prelude came close, offering a similar level of performance to the Conductor GT4 Max, but for my personal taste, Burson just fits better.
Now, the Conductor GT4… what can I say? It’s a true reference-quality machine. The sound it delivers is nothing short of extraordinary—powerful, controlled, and full of authority. The soundstage is impressively wide and deep, pulling you into the music in a way that feels natural and immersive. It has this incredible ability to reproduce the music exactly as it was intended, preserving the nuances of every recording. I can honestly say this is one of the best sound experiences I’ve had, and I couldn’t be happier with it.
