I presently run the Burson HA-160 in conjunction with a set of AKG-702’s headphone and an Arcam rDAC. This system, fed audio from my Mac via Decibel audio player has essentially turned my understanding of how music should sound upside-down.
Particularly when playing hi-res files (24/96 or 24/192) the level of detail i am now privy to is exceptional and erases any possible regrets i may have had with regards having parted with my two-way floor standing system.
