…”I just received the 160D from ALO Audio in the US, along with the Audeze LCD-2’s. The combo sounds great.
For comfortable but reasonably loud volume I keep the volume pot around 11:30 to 12:00 (using the hi-gain output). For normal listening levels 10:00 is perfectly adequate. Above 1:00 the ears would likely explode.
For the Denon D7000’s I usually reduce the volume by 2 clicks (from LCD2) for similar loudness levels.”…
