I’m running a Sennheiser HD800 as well as a LCD-3F, HD600 and HD650 through the Conductor SL headphone amp USB DAC.
The source is an iPhone with CCK to my MacBook Pro via USB. Love it so far, still in my burn in period but it’s lovely! Quality component!

Are you fully happy with HD800 and Conductor SL? Have you listened to HD800 any other amps? Is the treble and base harsh or smooth. I am getting conductor SL to pair with LCD-2 but like to get HD800 also so need to see if HD800 could be driven well with the amp
HD800 and Burson Conductor SL9018 is going to transpose you in the concert hall, wanting to just slap the guy who have just caught in the third row on the left side of the orchestral stage. Piano and violin are so correct to my ears, I guess so called resonance/sibilance of HD800 is a feature – without it these instruments would be a bit lifeless. Jazz… hmmm… the separation is just fantastic; you can even know if the drummer has asthma or the trumpet guy was thinking to the lemonade his son was preparing the other evening or two weeks ago or anytime in between. Long story short: HD800 (detailed and sincere), Conductor SL9018(ESS Sabre + full Class A (detailed and sincere)) => crude detailed and sincere. The recording has to be well mastered.
