Attached are some photos of the Soloist headphone amplifier in my system. The digital source is Yulong DA8 DAC. Analog source is Clearaudio Concept turntable with Audio Research PH6 phonostage. The top is weighted down by Herbie’s Supersonic Stablizer, and I am also using Herbie’s Tenderfoot on the bottom.
After only a few days of burn-in, I can say that this is best amp I had for my Audeze LCD-2 headphones. Previous amp I had was the Schiit Lyr, which was replaced by the PS Audio GCHA, and now the Soloist headphone amplifier. The details and clarity with the Soloist is at a whole new level. I was surprised to find that with the increased details, there was no listening fatigue at all, even with compress or poorly recorded pop music. The bass extension is the best I have heard; did not realize the LCD-2 bass can go this deep until I heard it with the Soloist. I am glad I made the purchase.
