Just replaced the 3 dual-opamps on my Asus Xonar STX sound card. Replaced 2 JRC2114s (in the I/V section) with a pair of matched Burson opamps, and one more LM4562 (in the buffer position) too.
The sounds have really opened up with further extension in the top AND bottom.

Frankencard :)
Hey nice mod work, Can you post any updates on SQ after burn in etc….
I have the ASUS HDVA 1,3 deluxe and plan on using 7x BURSON 101 for the 7.1 analog output
Thanks
@gene: the mod OPAMs are too big that these caps get in their way
so he pull the caps out and resolder them in the back
make me flash back to the days I modded phases for mainboards & HSF for VGA cards :))
