Intro

Love, who can explain it?. When we are in love, we tend to only see one’s beauty and strengths, ignoring and fiercely defending  any faults, even though they may be obvious ones. This honorable virtue is too often found among tube loving audiophiles.  They love a good old 300B or 2A3 for its honey coated mid-range intonation, and who could blame them.   Teamed with the right system, and the right song on the right night (cold, dark and rainy), that old tubby still melts hearts like no other.

Once bitten by the love bug, a tube loving audiophile sacrifices willingly  - as true lovers do.  Their selection of speakers narrows to those with very high sensitivity, and their music also narrows, to those slower and with fewer musicians – but hey, they don’t give a rat’s a*** because they are in love, and self sacrifice is the ultimate act.

The Burson Audio Tube Booster

With our PI-100 power amp, Team Burson has demonstrated the fact that valves do not have the primary hold on acoustic truth.  However, the purpose of Burson Audio has never been to  discredit tube amps or to dishonor tube amp loving audiophiles.  Instead of joining the 40 years old war between tube amps companies and solid-state amp companies, we at Burson Audio wanted the two technologies (solid state and tubes) to work together for the greatness of music

After spending 18 months with their drawing boards, Team Burson came up with a machine that simply boosts the driving power of any SE-Class A amp put in front of it.  The Burson Booster amp has no coloration of its own. It allows the preservation of the tube sonic signature yet boosts its output power significantly. This is no small feat as any experienced audio engineer will tell you.  It finally allows tube lovers to enjoy both the power and grace of music.

Power Amp

Thanks to its direct coupled differential input stage and current feedback system the Burson Booster Amp is not only a tube amp booster. It is also a reference class power amp.  Our Burson Audio buffer technology allows our Booster Amp to perfectly team with any preamp (solid state or tube) and unleash the full potential of any system.

Sonic Characteristic

Transparency, power and enhanced definition are the three key characteristics of this Booster.  So transparent that you would not know it is there, yet power can be felt with every note.  Also Definition is lifted to a new level.  Each note is first delivered by a precise and accurate attack which can only be achieved by a solid-state amp, then comes the decay which tube amps can do so well.
